Roasted Acorn Squash with Browned Harvest Butter

The warming spices in Calicutts’ Autumn Harvest blend makes this the perfect fall dish!

What you need:

  • 1-2 acorn squash, seeded and quartered lengthwise
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • Dash of Autumn Harvest blend  or cinnamon
  • Oil
  • Salt & Pepper

Preheat oven to  450 F

On a baking sheet  toss the squash with oil and salt & pepper. Arrange slices cut side down  and roast for 35-45 minutes. When a knife pierces the squash easily they are done.

Then, make brown butter by melting butter  in a pan until it becomes golden brown and smells nutty.  Immediately pour brown butter into a small bowl  and add a  dash  of Autumn  Harvest blend to your taste. Pour the brown butter over the cut side of the acorn squash then serve on  a platter.
