I’m in love with this brassica! Roasting brings out it’s nutty flavor and is so easy!
What you need:
- handful of sprouting broccoli
- light glug of oil (I prefer sunflower oil)
- slat & pepper
Preheat oven to 425 F
Cut off the bottom 2 inches of the sprouts. Then, cut in half lengthwise. On a baking sheet, toss with a light glug of oil and season. roast for 10-15 minutes until tender and the tops become slightly crispy.
Uses:
- in a grain bowl
- with a cheese sauce
- on pasta
- as a green side dish
- in broccoli cheddar soup
You can use sprouting broccoli pretty much wherever you’s use broccoli.
