Spring Slaw

This recipe is more of a road map. Use whatever you have available and it will be tasty! This is a great, fresh accompaniment to any dish.

What you need:

  • 1/2 a rutabaga, peeled
  • 1/2 an apple
  • 1 diakon or watermelon radish
  • Juice from 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt & Pepper

Cut the rutabaga, apple, and radish into matchsticks (to do that simply slice them into half moons and then take the half moons and cut into strips). Look at the photo for guidance. 

Toss everything together! Enjoy! 

The lemon juice will prevent the apple from turning brown for a day or two. Store in the fridge for up to 2 days.
